Things to keep in mind when WritING TO local representatIVES

If you wish to write to your Commissioners, State Representative or Senator, we highly encourage you to do so. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:

The senator should be addressed as The Honorable Senator Blaise Ingoglia;
The Representative should be addressed as The Honorable Representative Ralph Massullo, M.D.;
The Commissioner should be addressed as Commissioner Jeff Kinnard, D.C.;
Use a courteous tone in your letter.
Keep your letter short and direct. A concise letter saves the reader’s time, and puts your message across in an effective manner;
It is advisable to send a typewritten letter instead of a handwritten one. If you wish to send a handwritten letter, make sure it is legible and neat
Remember to include that you're a current resident of Meadowcrest and part of an organization called Save Our Village.
